CT Scans (Computed Tomography)

Advanced Radiology offers 64- and 128-slice CT imaging—providing fast, detailed images with the lowest possible radiation exposure. We scan all major areas: brain, sinuses, spine, joints, organs, and blood vessels.

Preparation

For contrast exams: No food 4 hours prior; clear liquids up to 1 hour before. No prep needed for non-contrast.

Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring

Recommended for

Adults with risk factors like high cholesterol, smoking, diabetes, family history, etc.

Preparation

Avoid caffeine/smoking 4 hours before. Wear loose clothing, remove metal.

CT Angiography (CTA)

CTA uses a contrast dye to capture high-resolution images of blood vessels throughout the body—brain, heart, chest, abdomen, pelvis, limbs. It detects clots, aneurysms, and plaque build-up.

Recommended for

  • Adults 55–77 who smoke or quit in the last 15 years
  • History of 30+ pack-years
